What is dedicated internet access?

Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) is a business internet service with bandwidth reserved for your location and service terms set by the carrier. Compare the bandwidth, performance commitments, support and pricing in each carrier's offer.

Fiber describes the connection medium. It does not, by itself, mean the service is dedicated. Shared business fiber can also offer high upload speeds. Compare the product and contract, not just the fiber label.

A dedicated circuit can still fail. Plan backup and failover, equipment and power alongside the primary connection.
